OSS / BSS APPLICATIONS ENGINEER FOR TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICE PROVIDER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your role
The successful candidate will provide design, operations support and consulting services for a Service Provider in Greece on Operations Support and Business Support systems, emphasizing in design & optimisation and he/she will be tasked, in the field of Operations Support and Business Support systems, with the following key responsibilities:
- Working in the engineering team on system-level design, providing architectural expertise and guidance
- Design support providing architectural expertise and guidance in the organization business processes
- Troubleshooting, tuning, optimization and maintenance on the functionality of the OSS / BSS infrastructure
- Supporting subcontractors and clients during the deployment phase
- Carrying out quality acceptance controls and acceptance verifications
- Responsible for the OSS / BSS operations of the service provider, producing and/or reviewing of operations related procedures and plans
- Writing, reviewing and providing feedback on technical documents written throughout the organization
- Performing instructional sessions for knowledge transfer
- Providing regular status reporting
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required skills:
- Degree in Computer Engineering or relevant discipline
- 3-5 years of relevant OSS / BSS Systems Engineer in a service provider environment
- Hands on experience on integration of OSS / BSS systems
- Strong experience on operations of OSS / BSS systems
- Excellent command of the English and Greek language (spoken & written)
- Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
Desired skills:
- Certifications in TM Forum’s Business Process Framework will be considered as an asset
