SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Role
You will be a part of an international team with the following key responsibilities:
- Development of a set of new back-end features in a suite of software products
- Direct participation in development tasks for the software product
- Involvement in coaching and reviewing related activities to assist less experienced developers
- Enbroadment of technology base
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills:

- University degree in Software Engineering or other relevant field
- Expert level knowledge of Java
- Deep understanding of object oriented software development and familiarity with software design patterns
- Experience with Java testing and mocking frameworks
- Good understanding of concurrent programming principles
- Familiarity with one or more Java application servers
- Experience with SQL-databases (from application usage perspective)
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Java 8
- Experience with Java EE, specifically Servlet and JMS
- Knowledge of Spring Framework
- Experience with clustering
- Experience with leveraging open source tools within big data / stream data processing will be an asset
- Availability in travelling abroad
- Experience in international environment
Personal Characteristics:
- Fluency in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to communicate efficiently and constructively on technical issues
- Ability to quickly understand “new” technologies and tools
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to coach and motivate other team members
