SAP BASIS CONSULTANTS
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your role
Successful candidates will join a structured team of highly experienced SAP professionals, will be trained in their area of specialization and will be involved in the delivery of SAP projects and services, to the company’s clients in Greece and abroad. They will work in the field of SAP systems and SAP Databases administration, developing along a technical career path with the following key responsibilities:
- SAP systems installation, maintenance and administration tasks, in a multitude of SAP supported platforms sponsored by experienced SAP Basis consultants.
- Continuous follow up of SAP’s technology innovations and achievement of the relevant SAP certifications
- Participation in full cycle SAP implementation projects, from requirements analysis and hardware sizing, to configuration and development, acceptance testing, user training, go-live support and warranty support.
- SAP services provision, to the SAP installed base, adhoc and/or in the framework of Service Level Agreements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of proven working experience as an SAP Basis consultant, preferably in landscapes with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases and Windows Server operating system
- At least 5 years of proven working experience in database administration
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant discipline
- Excellent command of the Greek and the English languages (written and verbal)
Desired Qualifications:
- Working experience in SAP HANA Installation/Administration
- Experience in SAP Solution Manager
- Experience in configuring the SAP Solution Manager Incident Management system
- SAP Basis Certification
- Certification in database administration (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle and/or Sybase)
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or UNIX operating systems (HP/UX, AIX, Solaris, etc.)
- Post Graduate degree
- Knowledge of additional European languages
Personal Characteristics:
- Highly self-motivated and methodical, with attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting skills, combining technical competence with a customer service approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and customer orientation.
- Ability to perform in a team environment under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to travel
